Israel, Islamic Jihad agree to Gaza truce brokered by Egypt

The fragile truce caps days of intense fighting that claimed the lives of more than 30 people, mostly Palestinians. Egypt, which brokered the cease-fire, called on all sides to adhere to the agreement.
