COVID travel restrictions: Switzerland

Anyone traveling in Europe must expect pandemic-related restrictions. Despite the omicron variant, some countries have fully relaxed restrictions. Here are the current rules for Switzerland.

Entry regulations

The Swiss government has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions. This means those entering the country no longer need to present proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result.

COVID rules for daily life

Patrons no longer have to show a COVID-19 certificate to enter bars, restaurants, theaters, concert halls and other venues.

The government has also done away with attendance limits on large gatherings. More information here
